Michael B. Miller

Michael B. Miller is an international lawyer specializing in family and business law, contracts, acquisitions, and start-up matters. He launched his career in M&A and corporate finance at premier firms Willkie Farr & Gallagher and Skadden Arps, working on landmark transactions including the takeovers of E.F. Hutton, Federated and Allied Stores, and R.J.R. Nabisco, plus corporate finance deals for Drexel Lambert and Mike Milken. Michael served as Managing Director at Bel Air Investment Advisers (overseeing $5+ billion for celebrities and high-net-worth clients) and later at Northern Trust, where he led the $2.5 billion Wealth Advisory Group encompassing banking, trusts, and estates.

In 2016, Michael founded Miller Law LA, focusing on select legal projects and mentoring young entrepreneurs. As a cannabis industry expert, he launched the pioneering CannaBusiness podcast on Dash Radio in 2018 and became the first Cannabis Editor and Associate Publisher for LA Weekly.

Michael is a published author and remains active in philanthropy, supporting academic institutions, arts access, social justice, anti-bullying initiatives, and disease prevention.
