At First, we include complimentary real-time online notarization for all of our prenups where remote online notarization is permitted and can meet state requirements^*. We work with a third-party notary partner to provide our complimentary remote online notarization services. There are no additional fees associated with notarizing your First Agreement.

Remote online notarization is governed by state laws, including electronic notarization identity verification requirements. If you are unable to notarize your prenup online, not to worry! You can take your prenup to be notarized in person at your convenience before your legal marriage takes place.

Yes, every prenup created with First is state-specific and designed to be legally binding. Once signed, your prenup becomes legally binding upon the day you marry.

Our attorneys do not work with outside prenuptial agreements. If you wish to engage our attorneys, you will need to purchase The First Prenup with Lawyer Review. This package includes the step of drafting your prenuptial agreement on our platform collaboratively with your partner.

We do not currently offer packages that provide only one attorney. Our packages include:
