No. LegalZoom announced a partnership with HelloPrenup in May 2026, and couples who go to LegalZoom for a prenuptial agreement are directed to HelloPrenup's platform. HelloPrenup describes itself as LegalZoom's exclusive prenup partner. With First, the platform, process, and attorney work is all executed through First.
How much does a LegalZoom prenup cost?
As of July 2026, LegalZoom's prenup is HelloPrenup's product, priced at $599 for the couple. Online notarization is $50 ($649 total). Attorney representation is $799 per partner ($1,598 for both) in addition to the $599 base price plus any other add-ons and upsells by the attorneys, which is disclosed once a couple is engaged with counsel.
First's Self-Serve package is $649 with online notarization included free, everywhere remote online notarization is accepted. The Lawyer Review package, which includes two independent attorneys, drafting, revisions, and online notarization, is $3,500 flat - no surprises or hourly billing. Bespoke package price is based on the requirements of each engagement and is for the most complex situations.
Does First's Self-Serve prenup include an attorney?
No. Self-Serve is a guided package at $649 with online notarization included, and you and your partner complete the agreement yourself using our platform. Every agreement is built on a foundation designed with family law attorneys. Attorney review comes with the Lawyer Review and Bespoke packages. Like LegalZoom, First is not a law firm.

Do I need a notary for a prenup to be valid?
It depends on your state. A prenup generally must be in writing and signed before marriage, but notarization requirements vary. Some states require notarization or formal acknowledgment; others, including California, do not require notarization for validity, though notarizing is often recommended to create a clear record of who signed and when. First includes online notarization as part of every prenup package where remote online notarization is legally available. Through LegalZoom's partner HelloPrenup, notarization is a $50 add-on.
Can I switch to First if I already started a prenup somewhere else?
Yes. Nothing carries over automatically, and you would complete First's questionnaire and alignment module from the start.
