¹ Notarization available in all states where remote online notarization is legally accepted. Successful notarization requires proper identity verification and compliance with your state's Remote Online Notarization (RON) laws. First cannot provide online notarization in states that do not accept remote online notarization, or where the state requires an in-person notary process (like Louisiana and Wisconsin). If you're unable to complete online notarization, First will still provide you with your final prenuptial agreement, which you can take to a notary in your area.

Yes, every prenup created with First is state-specific and designed to be legally binding. Once signed, your prenup becomes legally binding upon the day you marry.

Do I really pick my own attorney?

Yes. You browse our network and choose. So does your partner, independently. The attorneys in the network are all licensed attorneys seasoned in family law, and have been approved and trained on the platform by our team.

What if my partner and I are in different states or cities?

No problem. Both of you sign in from any device, anywhere. The questionnaire, document review, and online notarization all work remotely.

Is notarization included with my prenup purchase?

At First, we include free, on-demand online notarization with all of our prenup packages where remote online notarization is accepted. Our trusted notary partners are available on weekdays, Monday–Friday, 9am–9pm CT, at no additional cost to you.
