Ms. Capra is a Martindale-Hubbell AV rated lawyer with over 51 years of practice in family, probate, special needs and elder law matters. She has assisted individuals and families by representing them in court proceedings, acting as a mediator and serving the Maricopa County Superior Court as a Judge Pro Tempore. She concentrates her time in assisting people with marital settlement agreements in dissolution or legal separation cases, creating custody and co-parenting plans, establishing child support and spousal support awards, providing guidance to people who wish to create their post-marital living and financial arrangements via a pre-nuptial agreement and helping families with the decision process surrounding the care giving needs for a special needs child or seriously ill family member. Ms. Capra is past president and current Co-Program Chair for the Maricopa County Association of Family Mediators (MCAFM), an organization which provides professional education services for mediators as well as public information about mediation. For over ten years she has been an active participant with The O’Connor Institute, which honors the legacy of Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O’Connor by promoting civic engagement and civic learning. Ms. Capra also was a founding board member of Sojourner Center, a domestic violence shelter for women & children.
